Our Team Experience

Carers play an essential role in helping you live more independently, build skills, and participate in your community. Depending on your goals and needs, a Support Worker can provide tailored assistance across many areas of daily life, including:

  1. Daily Living Support – This includes assistance with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, toileting, grooming, and meal preparation. It ensures you can carry out your everyday activities in a safe and supported way.

  2. Community Access – Carers can help you get involved in your local community. This may include transport to appointments, support to attend social activities, events, or helping you access education or employment.

  3. Skill Building and Independence – A Carer can help you learn and practise new skills like cooking, budgeting, using public transport, or digital literacy, supporting your journey towards greater independence.

  4. High-Intensity Support – For participants with complex needs, trained Support Workers can provide specialised care such as assistance with enteral feeding, diabetes management, epilepsy support, and behavioural support (under supervision or direction from clinical staff when required).

Documen understands that your support needs are unique. Our team works with you to tailor support that fits your goals, preferences, and lifestyle – helping you live the life you choose.
